Our Government client are looking to attain a senior level Business Process Re-Engineering Resource. This resource will be expected to help with the that will modernization and re-engineering of departmental procurement-related business processes and systems. There will be an option to extend.
Role and Responsibilities
Tracking objectives for the project; determine budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities and terms of reference for the project team.
Identifying opportunities for assisting in the prioritization of, and assignment of organizational improvements.
Processing problems into solutions or new opportunities/initiatives, identifying and researching best practices using SAP functionality related to Material Management, Procurement and Finance.
Collecting and analyzing information and presenting findings on complex issues, carrying out or coordinating research as required and preparing weekly reports using MS suite (MS 2010 – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point) products available at the department.
Analyzing and developing requirements, designs, process development, process mapping and training.
Analyzing stakeholder’s business objectives and recommending and developing solutions to address their business problem.
Analyzing business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows.
Providing expert advice in developing and integrating process and information models between processes to eliminate information and process redundancies.
Providing expert advice on and/or assist in implementing new processes and organizational changes.
Qualifications and Experience
\Must demonstrate that he or she has a minimum of two years experience in P2P blueprinting (includes as-is assessments), design, and P2P automation.
Must hold a valid SAP certification.
Must have at least 1 year of experience with Procure to Pay automation in a Federal Government department, Agency or Crown Corporation.
